As summer hits a high note and we slowly segue into fall, running comes back into season and CONVERSE races back into its running roots with a release of the Converse Auckland Racer sneakers. The Auckland Racer was created in the 1970s for the pioneers of the early jogging movement. Retro in style and silhouette, these were a fast favorite of those who have turned running into a lifestyle instead of a cardio chore. This season, the Auckland Racer has been updated with new materials such as a sleek reflective TPU and nylon mesh (the retro roots come rushing back!). With the signature Chevron One Star on the side, the Auckland Racer comes in a soft supportive upper which promises nothing but comfort. The line-up offers three colorways– grey, black and enamel blue. They will be hitting select retailers such as Bodega in Boston this week.
