Converse has had a good revival with their CONS Skate collection in the past few seasons and the Spring 2010 looks to be promising as well. Two brand new styles Sea Star and CVO have been launched and once again the silhouettes have been pulled out from the extensive Converse archives.
Sea Star is a unisex model that retains a vintage boat shoe style with padded collar and all suede upper making it great for skateboarding. CVO is another unisex model that is basic in styling that boasts slender sole for added board control. Suede is used for the upper as well and padded collar ensures comfort for the ankles.
Also launching this season is the first signature model for pro skater Anthony Pappalardo, the (PRODUCT)RED CONS Pappalardo Pro which is an initiative to help increase awareness of AIDS in Africa. Navy suede upper is accented with red highlights on the top lace loop and outlining of the midsoles. This first colorway will be released in February at CONS Skate dealers.
