6inch black high heels and black stockings

Thanks a lot for all the great feedback to the last posting with the strappy sandals with stockings photos. It really looks like you are all at least in some kind stockingslovers ;). Good to know ;).
Well, here are some more pix of me wearing high heels AND stockings. This time again my black 6inch oxford style high heels and seamed black stockings. Sorry that there is no photo of showing the stockings from behind - didn't have some sharp ones :(. But therefor you have a closeup of the heels.
As this outfit should look like a schoolgirl I just thought that the oxford style high heels would fit best. They look sexy but not as sexy as my black stiletto sandals ;). I was really impressed when I looked at the pics - really like this photos and my outfit. The skirt is really short so you can see the top of stockings on nearly every photo.... But I guess you don't mind ;). Hope you like this high heels and stockings photos as much as I do?!

Shoe Of The Day: Crochet Panel Boot by Matalan

I'll admit that sometimes I forget about Matalan. Mainly because my local one is just that tiny bit out of the way and when I do bother to go, it's always a mess. Then I remember they do online shopping and so I won't miss out on hidden gems like these boots.

The fake work boot thing has been done to death a bit and their ubiquity is almost as bad as fake Uggs. But they are, well, useful. They go with everything and that shouldn't stop just because the weather's supposed to get nicer at some point. The crochet panel on these means that they make a viable alternative to sandals or other warmer weather footwear.

And they're only £15 reduced from £20. See, even at full price, they're still a bargain.

What's Going On??

"Where has she disappeared to this time?" you may be asking yourself. Well, there's a few things, first being my laptop was stolen and I lost ALL of my photos files and info.
"But you must have a backup!?" well, no. No I don't.

So new laptop, new start I suppose. Such a bummer. But on to the good news that I'm finally allowed to share!! I hinted to a new line with a super mega celeb a few months ago and I still can't reveal who she is (dangit!!) but I ended up passing on that project anyway. Why? Well for what may be the most exciting project in my career!!
"Better than working with Betsey Johnson?" Kinda.
"Better than working with Gwen!!??" Sorta.

Drumroll please..............

My very own line! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! I'm so excited!!!! Can you believe it!? So I'm obviously very preoccupied with that and with getting it started and whatnot, but I'd really like to share the process with you guys. From concepts to sketches to samples- everything! I obviously have to do it on a bit of a delay so ideas aren't copied and stuff but I can't wait to show you what I'm working on!!

Until then, I do have one favor. I need a name! Now I've asked some friends and they of course said "name it The Shoe Girl" but I don't think that really makes sense for a brand name... What do you guys think?? I'd love suggestions and if you come up with a name that I love you'll forever have bragging rights that YOU came up with the brand name. ;)
Think girly and fun and not too junior sounding. I know that it looks like a food company from my images up there but I want it to have that felling of delicious treats for your feet. I don't know about you but when I see the right pair of shoes I crave it, just like sweets.

I should remind you that I can't use my own name because Celine is already taken and is a well established French high end line. Bummer.

Yippee!! I can't wait for this next adventure!

Shoe Of The Day: Picasso Block Heels by Asos

I decided recently there's not enough librarian chic in my wardrobe. These shoes from Asos would be the perfect starting point, don't you think? I'm a big fan of block heels - they're so much comfier and easier to walk in than stilettos and the platform sole helps even further.

The mock croc pattern adds a bit of interest as opposed to a plain brown. I'm picturing them with this kind of outfit

I don't even know what to tell you.

You know I love leopard print perhaps more than I should but this? This is Too Much. Never mind the pattern clash, what's with the tassle nonsense? And the chunky sole? And the ruching? And the price tag?

The price tag? Yeah. These will set you back.... £140. I need a cup of tea to recover from the shock.

5inch sandals, black stockings and garter belt

As I promised you here is something for all stockings and garter belt lovers of you ;). This few photos I just took with my phone last night before going out with a friend of mine. (You know her and her 5inch heels already from a posting I posted before.) She looked really amazing so I just had to take some pics of her. She wore her 5 inch strappy Buffalo sandals together with black seamed stockings and a matching black garter belt. Actually they are not real seamed stockings - its just a woven seam and ornament. As her mini skirt was really very short so you could see the top of the stockings and sometimes even the suspenders of the garter belt when she was sitting ;). It was really nice seeing all those turning heads. These stockings with these ornaments together with the 5inch high heels were really an eyecatcher!! Although I normally don't like sandals with stockings - I found that this outfit looked really stunning and is probably the only way to wear high heel sandals even in winter ;).

New Balance 1500 "Made in England" Herbst 2011

Auf der aktuellen Bread&Butter stellte New Balance nun drei neue Modelle des New Balance 1500 für kommenden Herbst vor. Dazu gehören neben einem eher zurückhaltenden grauen Modell, auch jeweils eines in Violett und Rot. Besonders diese beiden bunten Sneaker sind der Hammer.

Adidas Metro Attitude XL

Größe soll ja nicht so wichtig sein...manchmal. In diesem Fall spielt sie eine wesentliche Rolle. Denn der Kultschu der 80er Jahre, der Adidas Metro Attitude bekam in dieser Version eine überdimensionale Zunge verpaßt, auf dem das typische Adidas originals Logo zu sehen ist. Auch wenn die Farbgebung in überwiegend Weiß, mit etwas Rot und Blau, eher schüchtern ist, wird man diesen Adidas Sneaker wohl kaum übersehen können. Derzeit gibt es dieses Modell z.B. im Overkillshop, bei HHV Selected Store, oder bei TheGoodWillOut.

New Balance MT580 x PHANTACi "The Green Hornet"

Heutzutage wird fast jeder coole neue Kinofilm mit ein paar Sneakern begleitet, die eben diesem Film gewidtmet wurden. So z.B. auch mit dem neuesten Streifen "The Green Hornet", der gerade bei uns angelaufen ist. In diesem Fall wurde ein New Balance MT580 dazu genutzt, der in Zusammenarbeit mit PHANTACi gestaltet wurde. Der Schuh besteht aus schwarzem perforiertem Leder mit Lack, sowie grünen Akzenten an Sohle, Schnürsenkeln und Innenfutter. Passend zum Helden des Films gibt es noch ein angehangenes Logo und Lacelocks als Augenbinde.

6 inch High Heels with an Ankle Strap - barefeet

This pics were actually taken on a very funny corset-photoshooting. But as i think - my legs and shoes look really nice on this photos I just took some of the pix for my high heels blog. I just wear a corset and a really short white tulle skirt. I wear the sandals barefeet as we decided that stockings would not fit to the outfit. The shoes are 6 inch high Heels in patent leather with an ankle strap. I really love this shoes - so please don't wonder if you will see some more postings with photos of this heels. Although these "Domina" sandals from Pleaser are one of the highest heels I own they are one of the most comfortables too. It maybe sounds strange to you - but they really are - at least with an insole ;). But I wear all of my high heels with an insole or at least a gel pad as it increases the comfort a lot when wearing high heels for a long time.

Shoe Of The Day: Furry Ankle Boot by River Island

Although I'm still unsure about the majority of River Island's clothing output, I am impressed by their shoes and handbags. Like these faux fur lined ankle boots.

They look snuggly but delicate at the same time - like the best of an Ugg and an ankle boot. I'm picturing them with chunky tights and socks and a pretty dress or peeking from under a maxi skirt.

Football and Foot Fetishes...

I am not a football fan. Not even a little bit. This story, however, caught my attention and I now find myself sitting in front of the TV as I type this. I'm watching the Jets vs Patriots game. Who knew?

So I guess Jets coach Rex Ryan has been bad mouthing the Patriots quarterback, Tom Brady, pretty badly over the last few weeks in the press. I'm not sure what the history between the two teams is because as I mentioned... I don't care. Well this Rex guy has been in the tabloids recently for some foot fetish funny business. Someone found these tapes of his wife Michelle (username iHavePrettyFeet) online, showing off her feet and talking about her pretty toes. The mans voice in the video is allegedly coach Rex himself. The videos seem really mild as far as fetish videos go, but you can imagine the controversy I'm sure. Here's a video screenshot from one of the videos next to a photo of Rex and his wife. She either has a secret twin or that's her.

Here's where the story gets good! To get back at Rex for his shit talking, Patriots wide receiver Wes Welker stepped up to the podium during an interview and took jabs at him about his foot fetish scandal. Every question he's asked (11 in total) he finds a way to use the word "foot" or "toe" in every answer. It's mostly been reported as "subtle" but I think it's pretty obvious that he's referencing Rex Ryan. It's totally hilarious! See for yourself....




So good!! hahahaha.

Shoe Of The Day: Sindy Suede Platforms by Topshop

These are going to be the first of many suede shoes that I'll show you this year - there's lots of it about. These are the first ones though to make me overlook the impracticalities of the material and instead think about how I can save up my pennies to buy them.

Topshop have, in my opinion, turned themselves round since last year and these lovely peep toe platforms are one bit of proof. They have it all - platform, peep toe and a huge bow. Plus the colour is lovely even if Topshop do describe them as grey, they look more nudey blush pink in the picture. If you want them, they're £75 from Topshop.

Nike Air Force 1 "Year of the Rabbit"

Jedes Jahr steht in China unter dem Zeichen eines anderen Tieres. 2011 steht unter dem Zeichen des Hasen. Passend dazu bringt Nike diesmal einen Nike Air Force 1 heraus, der sehr hell gehalten ist und neben einem auffallend roten Swoosh auch ein blaues Futter besitzt, welche starke farbliche Kontraste bilden. Leider wird es dieses Paar exklusiv nur in China geben.

Fancy A Trip To The Oscars? Design A Dress For Charity And You Could Go!

Ah, The Oscars. We know they're supposed to be about films and stuff but let's face it, all anyone cares about are the dresses. And James Franco being the host. Wouldn't you like to go? Well if you've got a creative bent then you could enter a competition to design a dress and get the chance to see it on a red carpet.

Red Carpet Green Dress is your chance to design a dress made from eco-friendly materials and support education for disadvantaged children.

The main things you need to know are:

The Red Carpet Green Dress Contest is an international fundraising competition. This aid provides many children from under-privileged situations an opportunity to receive an education, which might otherwise not be possible. Because it is a fundraising competition, there is a $75 (about £48) entry fee.

The closing date is 2nd February 2011. You need to be able to make the dress (or have it made) by 21st February 2011. (If you win, you get $2000 towards the cost of making the dress).

You get to choose your model so you can design for your mum or your best friend or Great Aunty Dot, whoever you want!

If you win, you and your model will get flown to Los Angeles on 21st February from wherever you are IN THE WORLD for 4 days and in this time get to meet the judge who picked your design Suzy Amis, who helped to found the MUSE school program and her husband, Actual Oscar Winning Director James Cameron.


Although you don't get to go to the Actual Oscars, you do get to go to the Global Green Pre Oscar Party and walk the red carpet with your model as the guests of Suzy Amis and James Cameron. That is pretty exciting. Don't forget to practice your walk though.
